Always striving to further enrich his career and enhance his training, Dr Khuong Pho pursues the latest advances and technologies in dentistry through hundreds of hours of continuing education. He is also a current member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA).
Dr Khuong Pho was born in Saigon, Vietnam and migrated to Australia in 1979 as a toddler. He was raised in Adelaide and he loves the city and its people. He attended Adelaide High School and studied dentistry at The University of Adelaide. He is married to his lovely wife Leng Pho and has two beautiful girls. When not practising dentistry, his life revolves around his family activities. He also enjoys maintaining his reef aquariums, flashlight hobby, watching Netflix and following the Adelaide Crows.
Dr Khuong Pho has a passion for dentistry. He believes a healthy smile is not only important for an overall healthy well being, but it improves quality of life, self esteem, and confidence. His goal is to provide outstanding service to his patients, and to build long term relationships with his patients. He wants to help his patients keep their teeth for a lifetime.
Prior to entering the field of dentistry, Shiming did a two-year study in Medical Science at the University of Adelaide. This experience enhances and supplies foundational knowledge that proves valuable in her dental practice.
Shiming is a compassionate dentist with a keen interest in all aspects of dentistry. She values the importance of providing patients with an excellent dental experience and delivering high-quality care. Shiming places a high importance on communication and consistently strives to offer her patients clear and easily understandable explanations. Shiming is also enthusiastic about pursuing further dental education and is committed to continuous professional development.
Shiming is fluent in English and Mandarin. Besides Dentistry, Shiming enjoys spending time with her family and friends, or a good workout session at the gym.
She shows great enthusiasm in her job and takes great pride in what she does. She loves getting to know each and every patient and building that bond with them to make them feel welcome. She is a very outgoing and caring person.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her 9-year-old daughter Madison and 3-year-old son Jake. She loves to cook and hang out with her family and friends. Kirsten also used to work in her father's painting business and she occasionally still helps them out with jobs which keeps her busy in her spare time.
She enjoys sports, travelling, meeting new people and spending time with family.
In her spare time, Charlotte enjoys spending time with her close family, as well as socialising with her friends on the weekend. She enjoys cuddling her sister’s dog, finding new places to eat/explore and spending time with her partner.
She has recently graduated from her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in History and French. In her spare time Abby likes to go for hikes, read, travel and spend time with family and friends (and of course her dog!)
Outside of her work and studies, she enjoys exploring Adelaide and its surrounds, curling up with a good book and playing badminton.
Sonia is currently studying a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide. With a passion for dentistry and serving the community, she is enthusiastic about providing positive experiences for all our patients. In her role as a dental assistant, she is keen to grow her understanding and gain insight into all aspects of the dental field. Sonia is an empathetic and friendly member of our practice on Saturdays and takes pride in being part of each patient’s unique dental journey.
In her spare time, Sonia enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, sunny days at the beach and is always on the hunt for good food. She can also be found hiking up the aisles of local thrift stores or up the trails in the hills.
